Michelle graduated from Nottingham University with a 2:1 in French and History. She started her research career at Vox Pops International combining research with video production and then spent two years in the research team at innovation consultancy ?What If! specialising in NPD and branding research.

Michelle joined Navigator in 1999 where she worked on both commercial and public sector projects and let to set up Solutions in 2001. At Solutions, Michelle has lead a wide range of both commercial and public sector research projects. Recent clients include Seven Seas, Haliborange, Ascenta, The Team, Investors in People, DCSF, The Home Office, HMRC, The Department of Health and BERR. Michelle has extensive experience in research with families and children and hard to reach samples such as those with low basic skills, with disabilities and from minority ethnic communities. She also has enjoyed working on many sensitive issues such as teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and drug usage.

Out of work Michelle enjoys spending time with her family – and her two little children keep her busy. When she has a free moment she enjoys running, and is convinced that one day she will run a marathon! She is also an active member of a book club and loves cooking and eating out
